Arlington Animal Services Trap-Neuter-Return Program Donation Category:
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) donations support the management of the feral cat population in the City of Arlington. The objective of the program is to humanely trap, spay or neuter, vaccinate, ear tip (for identification purposes) and return each feral cat to its original habitat or colony in its designated area.
This program will help reduce the number of feral cats subject to the perils of starvation, contraction of rabies, and accidental deaths from motorists to name a few. It will also help decrease property nuisance concerns such as noise from screaming cats, scratched/damaged vehicles, odors stemming from feral cats marking their territories and other issues as the feral cat populations begin to decline.
TNR Program donations help fund feral cat sterilizations, traps, food, deterrents, vaccinations and wildcat cages.
All donations are tax deductible in accordance with Section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.
