Arlington's Adopt-A-Median Program

Arlington's Adopt-A-Median Program allows local businesses and other organizations to make an impact on the beautification of the community.

How it Works:

• Sponsor professional litter pick-up services.
• $500 per median annually + $50 one-time processing fee.
• Two-year commitment ($1,000).
• Pick your median here.
• Receive a custom sign and website recognition.

The Adopt A Median membership fee is non-refundable. Adopter must be age 21+ to enter into an agreement. The adoption agreement and commitment terms are valid for two years from the date of purchase. General Waiver of Liability

Please read the following waivers and agreements carefully. They include releases of liability and waiver of legal rights, and deprive you of the ability to sue certain parties. By agreeing electronically, you acknowledge that you have both read and understood all text presented to you as part of the checkout process.

In consideration for the opportunity for myself or child and/or legal ward, (hereinafter referred to as "child"), {named on account} to participate in sports activities, programs, projects, events, or other activities held on the premises or otherwise associated with the City (City of Arlington, Texas).

User agrees does hereby agree to waive all claims, release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless City and all of its officials, officers, agents and employees, in both their public and private capacities, from any and all liability, claims, suits, demands or cause of action which may arise by reason of injury to property or persons occasioned by error, omission, or negligent act of User, its officers, agents, employees, invitees or other persons, arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or any and all activity or use pursuant to this Agreement, or on or about the Premises and User will, at its own cost and expense, defend and protect City from any and all such claims and demands. Also, User agrees to and shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless City and all of its officials, officers, agents and employees, from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, causes of action, suits and liability of every kind, including all expenses of litigation, court costs and attorney fees for injury to or death of any person or for damage to any property arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or any and all activity or use pursuant to this Agreement or about the Premises. Such indemnity shall apply whether the claims, losses, damages, causes of action, suits or liability arise in whole or in part from the negligence of the City, its officers, officials, agents, or employees. It is the express intention of the parties hereto that the indemnity provided for in this paragraph is indemnity by User to indemnify and protect City form the consequences of City’s own negligence, whether that negligence is a sole or concurring cause of the injury, death, or damage.

I, {signed below}, hereby agree to and assume any and all risks association in any way with my own or my child's participation in sports activities, athletic programs, projects, events or other activities held on or at the premises, or otherwise associated with the City.

I hereby acknowledge that my own or my child's participation in the above activities, events, and/or programs may result in damage to property personal and otherwise, and/or personal injuries, including death. I hereby assume responsibility for the risks associated with my own or my child's participation in activities, events and/or programs on or at the premises, or otherwise associated with the City.

I represent that I and/or my child is in good and fit condition to participate in the activities, events, and or programs that he/she may take part in. My child has no known health conditions which would restrict or limit his/her ability to safely participate in such activities, events, or programs he/she may take part in. I understand that it is my responsibility to inspect and keep myself aware of hazards in the area that could have an effect on the safety of my child and/or safety of others. I furthermore understand that it is my responsibility to make my child aware of any hazards or conditions which may affect his/her safety or the safety of others.
